Kristina Sievers has learned from experience what good service should be and knows the needs of our customers from a completely different perspective. Kristina was trained as a sales manager in the car industry as well as having worked in organising tourist events. While studying economics, she concentrated on Services in Marketing, International Marketing and Multimedia. Kristina joined as a trainee has been part of the CarDelMar team in 2006. At the moment she is responsible for looking after and further developing the CarDelMar homepage, the creation and preparation of promotion material and she is also responsible for working together with the online agents in the marketing sector. “For me transparency is the most important factor”, explains Kristina Sievers. “At CarDelMar it is important that our customers are informed from the first click on the website to the time when they return of their rental car to the drop off point.”

What do you contribute to CarDelMar?
I remain calm and composed and keep focussed when everything goes array. My attention to detail is also very helpful.

On the road - what is your favourite road to drive along?
Spring and autumn are the best times to drive along the country roads.  The leaves on the trees are already beginning to sprout and summer starts to show itself. Or in autumn the foliage starts to turn red and golden. Simply beautiful! You definitely have to drive far away to experience and Indian summer. The North with its Lakeland areas around Plön, Germany.

What are your favourite holiday destinations/resorts?
There are so many great vacation destinations. The most important thing for me is that there is lots of water! It gives me the feeling of freedom. I would love to go back to Australia with its unbelievable contrasts. There is a great deal to discover there! On one Island! I would also love to visit the Scandinavian countries. 

What is your favourite vacation car?
A Jeep Wrangler for the beach, although a convertible in summer is not something to be sneezed at.

En-route in a rental car: What has been your best discovery while on vacation?
The Great Ocean Road in southern Australia in the brilliant sunshine.  There is scarcely a more beautiful sight!
