Before starting at CarDelMar in May of 2009, the training office clerk and tourism expert worked in many different branches and companies in the tourism industry. Among other things, Yvonne Janßen worked in grievance management, employee training, public relations, event management as well as a marketing dialog specialist. Her well-founded experiences in tourism and customer service are the source of her strengths that she brings to CarDelMar as a Junior Manager in the Service Center. Yvonne Janßen works under the belief that “No matter how good a product is, an offer only succeeds with perfect customer service!”
What do you contribute to CarDelMar?
I approach all conflicts both openly and solutions oriented which I use to my advantage when a customer files a complaint with us. The challenge, however, is to resolve the issue and advise the customer with utmost professionalism and optimal service. Feedback about our services is especially valuable for us: It helps us to develop new strategies which meet and exceed our customer’s expectations.
On the road - what is your favourite road to drive along?
Hvar Island in Croatia: The old rural roads of Jelsa through Brusje into the city of Hvar. Driving through the mountains, past the olive groves, and along the lavender fields you can experience a wonderful view of the neighboring islands, the Croatian mainland and into the distance where large ferries look tiny as they approach the island.
What are your favorite vacation destinations/resorts?My home town in southern Friesland: For that reason I try to get there at least once a month to hike and go on bike rides on the Jade estuary.
What is your favorite rental car?
My own car (Golf) and the BMW 1 series.
En-route in a rental car: What has been your best discovery whilst on holiday?The old city in Sarajevo with the small quaint stores and cafes surround the plaza Baščaršija.
