Insurance packages

Below we have compiled an overview of our insurance packages. You can find more information about each individual package under our General Terms & Conditions.

Please be aware that some credit card companies offer insurance coverage. We recommend that you check with your credit card company before selecting your package.

Standard Insurance Package

This insurance package includes the following benefits:

  • VAT
  • Unlimited milage
  • All local and airport taxes
  • Airport delivery
  • Supplier's third party liability coverage (subject to the terms and conditions of the local rental company)

Incl. Damage and Theft Waiver Package

This insurance package includes the same benefits as the previous package as well as both a Collision & Damage Waiver and Theft Protection. In addition, the package includes a deductible in the event of an accident.*

*Deductible rates vary based on supplier. Some destinations in Spain require no deductible. Contact our customer service team for more information about these destinations.


Here's how it works: Make your reservation just like normal from www.cardelmar.com. In the third stage of the booking process you will have the opportunity to upgrade your selected insurance package to a higher quality and more comprehensive package.
