What happens in case of accident?
Most local rental companies offer their customers a 24-hour emergency breakdown service. In the event of damage, it is imperative that the following procedure is observed:
- inform the rental agency immediately
- if a third party is involved, contact the local police, who will prepare a report.
- when you return the rental car, ensure that the rental agency compiles a damage report which should be signed by the local rental company and by you.
Please read the rental terms and conditions carefully when picking up the vehicle. Repairs can only be carried out with authorisation by the local rental company.
