Julia Logemann - Director Purchasing & Operations
Julia actively took part in CarDelMar's take-off in March 2005. Calling upon several years of management experience in the tourism industry, she brings a wealth of knowledge in strategic planning and processes.
Moreover, she comes up with a very valuable asset: her inside knowledge of the industry standards and practices combined with an equal degree of understanding for customer care. Earlier in her career, Julia held various key positions in management with high focus on customer care at companies such as Marriott and Japan Airlines. With her extensive experience of customer care gained through the past years, no other person is better prepared than Julia when it comes to foresee clients' needs and expectations. Energetically involved in the Operations Management at Europcar, she developed strategic relationships with suppliers while helping identify appropriate processes for specific customer needs. She has worked closely with hundreds of suppliers across the world to track and capture the best service coordination. At CarDelMar, Julia is one of the key-players.
She is in charge of organizing the entire suppliers' network and process. She has showed great skills for optimizing purchase agreements with suppliers at a global level. She actively seeks development with regards to sales, margin, operations and customer care.

As the purchase manager, Julia is the liaison with multiple colleagues in more than 15 countries. This is no issue for Julia. And why is this so? One of Julia's greatest skills is her ability to speak several languages...at such ease. For instance, once you discover she speaks Spanish fluently, she surprises you with her excellent French...before she finally astonishes you when she warmly welcomes you in Japanese.
Julia holds a BA with a major in Tourism Management from the University of Applied Sciences in Heilbronn, Germany.
